Prerequisites

  1. Analytics data must be exported from Firebase to BigQuery (Firebase setup, BiqQuery setup)

  2. If Admob Mediation is being used,

    1. Step 1: Enable impression-level ad revenue: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/11322405#getstarted

    2. Step 2: Ping impression-level ad revenue to Firebase. Sample code can be found here.

*Firebase’s auto tracking this revenue into event ad_impression. However, this event is not exported to BigQuery so ad impression revenue needs to be tracked in a separate event.

Special cases

  1. For Admob Mediation: Use connector Mediation Service > Firebase Ad Revenue.

  2. For Adjust (MMP): After adding Adjust connector, you will have S3 Bucket Name, AWS Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, CSV Definition. Use these info to configure in Adjust following

    1. In Select Events for Export: select "Install"

Real-time Tracking

For AppsFlyer:

  1. AppsFlyer’s default attribution data export is delayed max 1.5 days.

  2. In order to have realtime attribution data from Appsflyer, you can go to Appsflyer dashboard, go to Your game > Integrated Partner > Search “Cost Center” and configure it as following

For IronSource / Max Mediation:

  1. Revenue data from IronSource / Max Mediation is delayed max 1.5 days

  2. In order to have realtime revenue data, you can track ad-impression-level revenue to Firebase similar to Admob (Refer to "Prerequisites" section above) and use connector Mediation Service > Firebase Ad Revenue to import to Cost Center.

  3. Details on how to track revenue can be found here

Facebook on Android

If you’re running Facebook on Android, you need to setup "Google Install Referrer" so that Cost Center can get raw attribution data for Facebook:

Next Step

Connect your data sources: Once the third-party services configurations are complete, you can now add the connectors on Cost Center and link your apps.
